The department is prepared with four beds and two isolated beds room for infectious disease and every shift has two specialist nurses and one GP doctor and cardiologist responsible about the department, the department has all monitoring devices and fluid administration controlling machine plus ventilators for patients with respiratory disease and able to:
- Treat all cardiac attacks such as MI, ischemia, stable and unstable angina
- Treat hypertension cases
- Treat respiratory disease and support respiratory dysfunction.
- Treat gastrointestinal bleeding and control the cases and support the blood pressure.
- Treat diabetic patient like DKA and coma patients and control the blood sugar and its effects.
- Treat eclampsia patients and control the blood pressure and prevent seizures
- Treat patient with renal failure.
- Treat patients with brain hemorrhage and strokes.
